- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups whole milk

- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pink or purple food coloring (optional)

### Instructions:


#### For the Cake:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
2. In a medium mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
